What your browser loads from other services

Weather and sea data: on the home page and the yachts dashboard your browser requests the Naxos forecast directly from Open-Meteo (api.open-meteo.com, marine-api.open-meteo.com). Like any web request, this shares your IP address and browser details with Open-Meteo. No personal data is included.

Map tiles: the map page loads map styles and tiles from OpenFreeMap (tiles.openfreemap.org), with the same technical request data.

Hosting: the site is served by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Fonts and photos are served from naxosport.com itself.

Stored on your device

To avoid repeated requests, the latest weather data is kept for up to 15 minutes in your browser's session storage. It never leaves your device and is deleted when you close the tab. This is not a cookie and is not used to identify you.

Forms and email

The request and advertising forms don't send anything to a server. Pressing "Send" opens your own email app with a pre-filled message to [email protected]; nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself. We use your email only to reply to you, and delete it on request.
